Happy Thanksgiving...We are thankful for these three blessings!

What a fun Thanksgiving we had with Elli here this year.  She was here for a week and got to meet her baby brother Nate for the first time.  She loved him up every second she could...lots of baby snuggles, naps, bottles and smiles.  Megan was thrilled that "Eddie" was here again...and tried to capture as much of Elli's time as she could!  Megan and Nate are so lucky to have such a fun loving big sister!  They both love their big sister Elli so much!  It's so fun to watch these three spend time together.  We love you three so much!  

Baby Nate 6 Weeks Old

Baby Nate at 6 weeks is now spending a little more time awake and socializing with us.  We are all having so much fun with him and Megan is still loving him all up!  What a fun little addition he is to our family and our home as we head into a chilly winter...and lots of time together indoors!



Nate 1 Month Old...And a Good Sport!

How did he already turn 1 month old??  Oh my!  Nate is 1 month old now and Megan is already figuring out how she can get him to play with her.  This is Nate in Megan's dolly stroller....much smaller than a real life stroller...but fits a 1 month old just perfect!  Nate...you are such a good sport!  Megan...you better hurry up!  Soon your baby brother will have nothing to do with this or anything else pink with polka dots!

Happy Fall! (Nate 2 weeks old)

We headed to Grandpa and Grandma's yard again this fall for some fun pictures in all the leaves!  Jumping in the huge piles of leaves is one of Megan's favorite things to do.  It was a beautiful fall day and even 2 week old baby Nate got nestled in the leaves for some pictures.

Mommy Pride

Megan has been such a good little girl adjusting to her new baby brother in her life!  She loves him more than we could have ever imagined, and she has even created this special voice just for when she talks to Nate!  She will say in a high piched, gentle voice "Ohhhhh, Baby Brudder (Brother) Nate, I love you soooo much!  Ohhhhh, Baby Brudder Nate!"  Megan has been finding lots to do while we are busy with her new little brother.  One day she walked up to me and had this drawing board (in the picture) and said "Mama, wook (look)...two eyes!"  And here she had put two dots on the board that looked like two eyes.  I then said "Can you give him a smile?"  I really didn't think she could but I thought I would put her up to the challenge and see what she thought.  She turned around the board and said "Wook Mama....a smiley face!!!"  I had absolutely NO idea she was even capable of drawing a smiley face at 2 years (and 2 months) old...so here is a picture of her first one....this is exactly how she had it when she turned the drawing board around to show me.  I had mommy pride so I had to get this first smiley face in a picture.  She has also been enjoying these fun fall days outdoors chasing her shadows down the street and cruising in her red car.  You're a good big sister Megan!  We're proud of you!

Baby Nate 1 Week Old

 Here is Baby Nate at one week old.  He has big blue eyes and a little tucked in lower lip!  We all love him so much!  What a fun little guy we have been blessed with!
