Spinach and Smiles

This was a funny lunch we had one day....Nate was busy smiling at me and I had a chance to grab the camera so we finally got some good smile pictures.  Meanwhile Megan decided spinach was the best thing in the whole world!  I was putting spinach on my sandwich and she said to me "Mommy, what's dat?"  I told her it was spinach.  She said "I'll fry some".  And I said "Oh, you want to try some?  Ok."  I gave her one spinach leaf thinking she was not going to like it....but she said "I wike it, I'll fry some more please."  So I am not kidding you about 10 spinach leaves later she was finally content!  What a happy moment as a parent when your child begs for, yes, spinach.  Now my main reason for posting this was because I realize as a 7 year old she will be coming home from school telling me that she doesn't like spinach and never has...but I will be able to refer her back to this archival blog post where my dear little sweetheart will indeed be able to see that yes, one day she truly did used to love spinach!!!

(Hmmm...I was thinking Fisher Price should be paying us something for all the advertising/endorsements on this Fisher Price Rainforest line of baby products!)
