Tub Time

Megan loves to take a bath! She sleeps
through her hair being washed and she gives
a few grins once she is put into the warm
water! She even managed to pee on daddy!
If you enlarge the pic of her in the tub you
can definitely see her dimples! Her wavy
blond hair looks almost curly when it's wet
after a bath.

Is it possible for such a tiny little person to scream uncontrollably from dinner until 2:30am?? YES!! Entirely possible.....how about three nights in a row! If you are wondering why we haven't kept in touch...look at that cute face!!! The stiff tongue says it all! Just pray for our sanity!!! Love you all!

I've had so much fun with my big sister Elli this summer! I am so sad to see her go back to Texas for the school year. We have had so much fun snuggling and loving each other. Hurry up and come back home Elli! I love you so much and I will miss you! Kisses and hugs!

2 Weeks Old

Here I am...2 weeks old! Mom and dad thought you needed to see my cute toes today! I've started to be awake just a little more, so they finally got a picture with my eyes open! I love you all and I can't wait to get hugs from all of you! Mom and dad said that as they get more sleep, there will be more photos! Ha ha ha!!!

Megan's Mohawk

Here is her sandy blond mohawk! Megan is 9 days old and doing well. We are trying to enjoy every moment as she is changing so quickly already!

I'm so in love with her...I just peek in her crib and seriously start crying because she just steals my heart right out of me. Today she was such a cute little strawberry I had to show you!

Grandpa Les is here!

Here is Megan welcoming Grandpa Les to Alaska. Looks like Grandpa might have happy tears in that first picture?! Megan even woke herself up enough to have a fun conversation with Grandpa today.

Rebecca's technical difficulties...

Ok, well I am obviously such a new "blogger"...I need to call some of you expert bloggers for some layout and posting assistance....but right now I don't even have time to sleep let alone call anyone! So once I do get an hour of sleep one of these days...I will get some more help with this blog. In the meantime...I realize how crazy the layout posted...but at least the pictures are there! If you double click on the pictures, they should pop up nice and big so you can see Little Miss Megan closer up. Meanwhile, we will keep posting weird layouts with new pictures....and pray for my sleep....then the layouts will naturally get better!!! Love you and miss you all! I love when you all comment on the blog postings....it keeps me going even when I am dead tired!

Little Miss Megan

Here is Megan...finally we got the pictures to post!

You can see all of us loving on her! She has lots of wide awake conversations with mommy, googles at daddy and Elli whenever they are in the room, and she even shared a fun little smile with Grandma Naomi! Grandpa Les arrived here safely today....she was making him laugh as she kept grinning at him like she was doing it on purpose. We are having so much fun....but cannot believe how busy it has made us!

Our blog page turned pink on August 3, 2008!!!

We got a girl!!! We were so surprised! Megan Rae Reid was born on 8:45pm Sunday, August 3rd. She weighed 7lbs 14oz, 20.25 inches. We just got home from the hospital today. I know everyone is anxious to see what Miss Megan looks like, but right now the website is having issues uploading photos. I will try again soon until we get them posted! She has some wavy blond hair....with a mohawk in the middle! I still have to get a good hair shot of her. We all love her so much....it's hard to quit looking at her. Our world has definitely changed! What a blessing God has given us.

Ok, contraction!!! That's all the set-up time this baby is giving us! My water broke this morning at 5:35 am Alaska time, Sunday, August 3rd. We are headed to the hospital, well rested and ready to do this! We cannot update the blog in the hospital, but tune in to this website in about a day and a half and hopefully someone will get a chance to let you know...pink or blue!!!

Your last view of the Reid Family of 3!

Only one more week to go until Baby Reid is due on 8-8-08! We are busy trying to get moved into this house before the baby comes. We are thankful to be done with the move, out of the hotel, and settling with our household goods! Thank God mom is here helping me get the house set up. Elli has been awesome this summer helping me with everything...and she gives the best foot massages!! Darren has been extremely busy at work, but has made it out fishing once so far. We plan to update this blog first once the baby arrives, so hopefully this will be an easy way for all our friends and family to watch this baby grow! We still don't know if this baby is pink or blue yet! Tune in soon!!
