Mommy Pride

Megan has been such a good little girl adjusting to her new baby brother in her life!  She loves him more than we could have ever imagined, and she has even created this special voice just for when she talks to Nate!  She will say in a high piched, gentle voice "Ohhhhh, Baby Brudder (Brother) Nate, I love you soooo much!  Ohhhhh, Baby Brudder Nate!"  Megan has been finding lots to do while we are busy with her new little brother.  One day she walked up to me and had this drawing board (in the picture) and said "Mama, wook (look)...two eyes!"  And here she had put two dots on the board that looked like two eyes.  I then said "Can you give him a smile?"  I really didn't think she could but I thought I would put her up to the challenge and see what she thought.  She turned around the board and said "Wook Mama....a smiley face!!!"  I had absolutely NO idea she was even capable of drawing a smiley face at 2 years (and 2 months) old...so here is a picture of her first one....this is exactly how she had it when she turned the drawing board around to show me.  I had mommy pride so I had to get this first smiley face in a picture.  She has also been enjoying these fun fall days outdoors chasing her shadows down the street and cruising in her red car.  You're a good big sister Megan!  We're proud of you!
