Since we celebrated Megan's birthday party a week early, we had to do something special for her "real" birthday. So since it was such a hot and humid day and mommy is SO pregnant with little brother...we headed to the beach to do what Megan loves best...dig in the dirt and sand. She had an absolutely fun time splashing and digging and hopping in the water. Hopping with two feet together is a new skill Megan has been working on mastering...and she can do it now! It seems as though she has been practicing for 6 months...and keeping us all rolling in laughter as she makes such heart-felt attempts. But now she is 2 and she is an official hopper! She has also learned 11 colors (white, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black and gray), a few shapes (circle, square, triangle, star, heart), she can count to 10 when SHE wants to (opposed to when you ask her to!) and she can identify all the alphabet but still will not name the letters, but rather if you say "Q is for____" she will say Quail, but if you ask her what letter you are holding....she will not tell you it is a Q! She is having fun and learning at HER pace, which is truly her personality. She is a happy little 2 year old who loves to explore....and figure things out on her own! Happy Birthday Miss Megan! We all love you sooooooooo much!
