So by luck we ended up in Hawaii not exactly sure what state we would be flying out of to head back to Alaska. Hey, if your going to be waiting for a free flight home, Hawaii is a great place to get stuck!! It was a brief 3 night stay but it was beautiful and Megan loved digging her feet in the sand! We re-visited some of our favorite places from our post-deployment visit in 2003. We arrived home safely to Alaska to find beautiful spring weather (mid 60's and even into the 70's).

Gotta lil hottie on the beach! well, Becka's cute too...But that lil Megan: SO cute - LOVE the flower in her hair...some people don't get around that much by the time they're 90! let alone before 9 months ;-) such a seasoned traveler already...now "season" her down this way ~ towards beautiful MINNESOTAland

Great to see the pictures from your trips! The fun of traveling by military aircraft. How did Megan handle it? Hope to see you guys up here sometime in a few months!

Megan was such a good little traveler. We wondered how she was going to do at 8 months and her first trip out of state, but she surprised us and did excellent with (2) 13 hour road trips and 4 flights!
I love it! Megan has experienced the snow of Alaska to the sun of Hawaii, with a little AZ and CA in the middle, in a matter of days. I am so happy you all were able to make the trip. Just wish the stay in the Sacto area was a bit longer. Hugs,
